I have recently become Team Leader with Responsibility for Infection Control at Acorns Children\'s Hospice, and now an Antimicrobial Steward for our hospice in the Black Country, the first within the organisation. I am keen to implement any requirements as set out in the Health & Social Care Act and to ensure that we demonstrate our responsibilities towards AMS. I am keen to establish how we can show this proportionately in regard to the small part we play in prescribing antimicrobials.
